The think tank will offer recommendations within the focus areas: Support for civil society's battle against food waste and food losses, the general business opportunities for Danish companies, on how to overcome barriers to preventing food waste and food losses, ensuring data collection and impact assessment and on cooperateing with foreign partners on know-how and sharing of experiences.
ONE\THIRD is driving a voluntary agreement that brings together business and organizations across the value chain to reduce food waste in accordance with SDG 12.3: By 2030, halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reduce food loses along preoduction and supply chains, including post-harvest losses.
Many of the largest Danish food business and organizations has already pledged to measure and reduce their food waste and loss.
